Fr. Theologos Ordained to the Priesthood

On Sunday, September 8/21, 2014, His Eminence, Metropolitan Demetrius of America, ordained Hieroeacon Theologos (Stavroullakis) to the Holy Priesthood in the Church of St. Spyridon in St. Claire Shores, MI.

Fr. Theologos is a brother of the Holy Ascension Monastery in Bearsville, NY.

Family and friends from his native Toronto, Canada were present for his ordination.

We mustn’t have absolute trust in human beings for our salvation, no matter what dignity they have. Human beings are changeable. Today they are saints, tomorrow—deniers.
