St John Maximovitch says “Tell the People I Am Alive!” (Sermon)

On the very day of his repose, Metropolitan Demetrius of America reflects on the life and enduring presence of St. John Maximovich.

On the anniversary of his repose, Metropolitan Demetrius unveils the hidden devotion of St. John Maximovich — a bishop who carried relics next to his heart, walked barefoot in imitation of St. Naum of Ochrid, and continues, even now, to walk among the faithful. This sermon is a call to know the saints, to take the first true step of repentance, and to trust that holiness is not locked in the past but alive today.
